Overall Career
Donald William "Don" Aase (born September 8, 1954 in Orange, California), had perhaps his best years in an Orioles uniform. He set a then single-season saves record with 34 in 1986. Aase would pitch just 8 innings the following season, and was unable to duplicate his 1986 season in the final three years of his career. Aase appeared in the postseason twice, in 1979 and 1989, but never pitched in a World Series. He was a member of the World Champion Dodgers team in 1990, pitching in 34 games, but was not on the postseason roster.

Trivia
