David Howard

December 2007 - David Howard has been promoted to the position of Special Assistant to the General Manager. Howard, who played nine major league seasons as an infielder with Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals, joined the Boston organization in 2004 as a minor league coach and has been a professional (2005-06) and major league (2007) scout the last three seasons.
