Dave O'Brien
From SoSH
Dave O'Brien replaced Jerry Trupiano as Joe Castiglione's broadcast partner for the Red Sox Radio Network in 2007. He has received high marks from SoSHers thus far.
O'Brien has past Major League experience, having been the voice of the Florida Marlins from their inception in 1993-2001, during the tenure of owner John Henry. He also was on the MLB International radio broadcast team for the 2004 World Series. O'Brien moved on to WPIX from 2003-2005 as the voice of the New York Mets.
Dave has worked for ESPN since 2002 providing play-by-play of several sports. He received low marks for his soccer broadcasts, but fared better in NBA and, particularly, MLB games.
