League Information

Current
The Dominican Summer League (DSL) is a rookie-level minor league. Along with the Venezuelan Summer League, it forms the bottom rung of the minor league ladder. Every major league organization has at least one DSL entry except for the Milwaukee Brewers. DSL teams are filled with international free agent signings from Latin America. Obviously, most of the players are Dominican, but there are a number of players from Venezuela, as well as countries like Colombia, Nicaragua, and Panama. Some elite international signings proceed directly to the Gulf Coast League and skip the DSL entirely.
