Overall Career
Curtis Hooper Fullerton was born on September 13, 1898, in Ellsworth, Maine. Fullerton was 22 years old when he broke into the big leagues on April 14, 1921, with the Boston Red Sox.
Fullerton had a 6-year career in the majors as a right handed pitcher, all with the Red Sox. He finished with a 10-37 record, 104 Ks and a 5.11 ERA in 423 innings. Fullerton came down to Boston from his native Maine to struggle through six seasons with some of the worst Red Sox clubs ever assembled. He walked twice as many as he struck out.
