Craig Antonio Breslow, born August 8, 1980 in New Haven, Connecticut, is a left-handed reliever for the Boston Red Sox. Breslow has the distinction of being one of the few graduates of Yale University to have a big league career. The other "name" player in this category is former New York Mets ace Ron Darling. There are also a number of players from Yale who have had less notable careers in the big leagues.

Professional Career
Breslow broke into professional baseball as a 26th round draft pick by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2002 following a successful college career. Breslow would play 79 games in the Brewers system, reaching Class A California League High Desert in 2004. The Brewers released Breslow during the 2004 season and he latched on with the New Jersey Jackals of the Northeast league where he finished his 2004 season. Signed by the San Diego Padres in 2005, he excelled going through Class AA Southern League Mobile, earning his big league callup on July 23rd, 2005. Following this Breslow would split the rest of the season between San Diego and Class AAA Pacific Coast League Portland. The Padres non-tendered Breslow in December 2005 and he was signed by Boston to a Minor League Contract shortly thereafter. Breslow has again shined in AAA, this time for Pawtucket as he was named to the International League All Star Team in 2006. Was called up the the Red Sox on July 13, 2006.
