Overall Career
Chris Nabholz's career began in 1990 with much promise as a starting pitcher for the Montreal Expos. Nabholz started his career with 3 seasons of sub 4.00 era's. His best season his rookie year in 1990, Chris posted a 6-2 record with an era of 2.83 in 70 innings of work.
Then he was traded to the Cleveland Indians, Chris' career went downhill. He posted a 11.45 era in Cleveland and was quickly traded to the Boston Red Sox with Steve Farr for Jeff Russell.
Chris Nabholz as a Boston Red Sox was quite limited in 1994. In 42 innings he went 3-4 with a 6.64 ERA. The Red Sox had no reason to bring him back for 1995 and he went on to sign with the Chicago Cubs, his final season in MLB.
Chris posted a 3.94 era with 37-35 record in 6 seasons.
