Chris Mears

December 2007 - Appointed area scout in the Midwest Region (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin). Mears begins his scouting career after pitching in the Seattle, Detroit, and Atlanta organizations. The righthander had a 1-3 record in 23 games with the Tigers in 2003 in his only major league action.
