Overall Career
Charles Thomas Wagner (December 3, 1912 - August 31, 2006), played for the Boston Red Sox for parts of six season. After his playing career, he was Red Sox scout from 1950 to 1969. He later was a coach for the 1970 Boston Red Sox. Until his death, he was a consultant. In total, he spent 73 years with the Red Sox organization.

Trivia
- Former roommate of Ted Williams. Rumored to have been chosen by Ted because he didn't drink or smoke.
- Wagner died in 2006 after suffering a heart attack in his car following a Reading Phillies game.
- Wagner missed three seasons due to military service during World War II. He entered the Navy in November 1942 and was discharged in November 1945.
