Overall Career

Other than the role he played in the Red Sox acquisition of Pedro Martinez, is probably best known for being one of 72 pitchers Alyssa Milano has dated.

On August 15, 2006, while in Florida recuperating from previous injuries, Pavano breaks two ribs when his Porsche collides with a dump truck. He angers the Yankees by not reporting the crash or his new injuries for 11 days. The Daily News headlines its report: "Crash Test Dummy." Teammates respond by taping the headline to his clubhouse locker wall.
