Overall Career
Chester Franklin Ross was born on March 11, 1903, in Kuttawa, Kentucky. Ross was 21 years old when he broke into the big leagues on June 15, 1924, with the Boston Red Sox.
Ross had a 3-year career as a left handed pitcher. He finished with a 7-12 record, 31 Ks and a 5.01 ERA in 190.1 innings.

- Gave up Babe Ruth's 289th and 300th home runs, both at Fenway Park.
