Overall Career
Kielty has been an average player throughout his major-league career to date. He was released by the A's because they simply had no room to play him. For the Red Sox coming off the bench, usually in relief of Manny Ramirez or J.D. Drew, he is 8-for-23 with 1 HR and 8 RBI in 8 games. Time will tell whether or not he has a place in the future plans of the Red Sox.
