William Frank Selby (born June 11, 1970 in Monroeville, Alabama) was a utility player for the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians and Cincinatti Reds.

Overall Career
Drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 1992, Selby appeared in 40 games for the Sox in 1996, hitting .274 with 3 home runs and 6 RBI.
In 1998, after a season in Japan with the Yokohama Bay Stars, Selby signed with the Cleveland Indians. Mostly used off the bench, Selby's best year came in 2002, when he set career highs in at-bats (159), runs (15), doubles (7), triples (2), home runs (6), RBI (21) and total bases (63). In 198 games in the majors, Selby hit .223/.279/.360 with 11 home runs and 48 RBI.

- As a member of the Cleveland Indians, hit a pinch-hit grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning off Mariano Rivera on July 14, 2002 as the Indians dramatically defeated the Yankees 10-7.[1]

- Scored the winning run for Cleveland in a 8-7 victory over the Sox in 2002. After getting on base via a pinch hit single, Selby scores the winning run when Johnny Damon commits his first error in 249 games.
