Overall Career
Leslie Fletchard Fleming (born July 31, 1913 in Rowland, California) was 26 years old when he made his debut with the Boston Red Sox in 1940. His most productive season in the major leagues came in 1944 when he finished with a 9-10 record and a 3.13 ERA with the [[ChicagoCubs}}. After leaving the major leagues he converted to a successful relief pitcher playing in the Pacific Coast League, leading the league in saves twice.
