Beanpot

The Beanpot is an annual baseball tournament for local colleges held at Fenway Park. Boston College, Harvard University, and Northeastern University have participated since the creation of the tournament in 1990. Boston University was also a charter member. When BU discontinued its baseball program in 1996, it was replaced by the University of Massachusetts.

The 2004 tournament was the only edition of the tournament to not feature any games at Fenway Park. Some first round games are played at other sites.

2004

The first round took place on April 20. The second round took place on April 21. Zak Farkes of Harvard hit a walk-off home run to win the consolation game.
