Profile
The Alaska Baseball League (ABL) is an amateur summer baseball league, with six teams located in four Alaskan cities. It is one of the many summer Collegiate Baseball Leagues. Most players are from the college ranks.
In the past, the ABL has sent its top teams to compete at the National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series, with many champions coming from the ABL.

Midnight Sun Baseball Game
Begun over 100 years ago (1906) on a bet between two local bars, this game has been one of the most unique baseball traditions in America. The Midnight Sun Game, played in Fairbanks on the summer solstice every year since 1906, is played in the middle of the night with only natural light.
