Overall Career
Al Evans caught for the Washington Senators over the majority of his Major League career, highlighted by the stretch from 1946-1950 where he was the regular catcher. His best season came in 1949 when he hit .271 and finished with 42 RBI. He finished his major league career in Boston in 1952 after being waived by the Senators, where he saw action in 12 games. He later signed with the Chicago Cubs but never played in any games for them.
