Overall Career
In a six-season major league career, Hyzdu is a .229 hitter with 19 home runs and 61 RBI in 219 games. Hydzu will forever live in Red Sox lore as a member of the 2004 World Series Championship team.

- Hyzdu had his #16 retired by the Altoona Curve, of the Eastern League.
- Hyzdu attended Moeller High School in Cincinnati, where he broke Ken Griffey Jr.'s Home Run Record (22) and led his team to win the state championship in 1989.
- On July 20, 2002, Hyzdu belts two home runs and drives in seven with four hits, propelling the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 15-6 rout over the St. Louis Cardinals. [1]
