Vinny Del Negro ladies and gentlemen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 second difference!!!!!!!!!
Even if he misses that shot, by the time they could get the rebound, there is less than a second left!!!!!!!
Unreal....

I've finally figured out my love/hate relationship with Paul Pierce.
I hate it when he does something stupid. And I love it when he does something good.

Best case scenario for the Clippers there was the shot missing, wasting another second or two as the ball bounces off the rim and comes down, then calling a timeout with about half a second left, assuming LAC grabbed the rebound cleanly. Just scary bad game management.

We should use our foul to give to clothesline Barnes.

And over 15 years, the good holds a commanding lead over the stupid.

Poor 4th quarter. Too many bad passes. But I'll take the win.

Yup. Need minimum 4-5 second difference to have time for a rebound an a timeout to have a couple seconds to run a play.
Were they just hoping the Celts would be confused and shoot early? Thats the only way that strategy works.

Are the Celtics really better with Bradley and without Rondo? I think they may be.

Sweet win, albeit too close for comfort.

On the bright side, vs Miami and today PP and JT showed us some end-of-game-do-or-die clutch.

They are better than with Rondo and everyone else watching. With Rondo and everyone involved... sigh, won't know this year.

As a side note, Bledsoe was the best player on the floor for either team today.

About 30 seconds in, there is the worst travel I have ever seen. I think he took 7 steps.

On the +/- : Starters -26; bench, + 36. Quite a turnaround from earlier in the year.

For this team, it is kind of pointless to divide the players between "starters" and "bench. Bass is not one of the best 5 players. The "2nd unit" guards are more offensive minded. Jeff Green should, for age reasons, get at least as many minutes as Pierce.

You really can't admit when you're wrong, can you?

Sure I can, but no, I don't think Bledsoe played well in the first half, in which the Clips scored 40 points and gave up nearly 60.

Bledsoe's a fine player. You seem to be making a judgement about him based on one half of one game played at what is usually 10 AM for him. I don't love him, but he's not some slouch. His PER is 18.77 this year, better than Pierce, Deron, Ibaka, Horford, Rondo, Love, Wall, Landry, and more. You get the point. PER isn't a be-all end-all stat, but it's pretty silly to do what you are apparently doing: making a judgement on the tiniest of sample sizes.
