Net Connection Problem

This morning I couldn't connect to the Internet on my main pc. I can still connect through wireless devices. I tried unplugging all the cables and rebooting but that didnt work. Any thoughts on what else I could try? I'm running a virus scan with a avast. I have a dell Inspiron running windows xp with a dlink 624 router. The modem is a cable modem from Comcast.

Same exact thing happened to me this afternoon. I'm also Comcast. I called for a refresh signal and all was well afterward.
