Austin Rivers has been barely playing recently. Wonder if that changes tonight.

I'm guessing Doc doesn't put Bradley on him if he does play....

I believe he was asked the very question of whether Bradley would be on him, and his response was "absolutely." No mercy.

Me to OFT: "Brandon Bass is bad at basketholes."

Then that.

Do that more, I guess?

It really was. A slower footed PG like Vasquez is really screwed when Bradley is guarding him

He looks like the really annoying guy trying way too hard on D in a casual game at the gym. Obviously in this situation it is anything but annoying.

Bass maybe coming around (trade value!!!), while Terry still looks like feces.

I think I buy the idea that Bradley's defense is a more significant dynamic that having a shot blocker. Not nearly every blocked shot generates a turnover, or even a failed possession, but Bradley's defense is at least like jamming a wrench in the spokes of an offense, and often a flat out turnover. It doesn't just change the end point of an offensive possession and some of the other team's options, it clogs it up it from the very beginning, allows the other defenders a better chance and keeping the choke hold on it and often ends it as well. Even when he leaves the floor the other team's confidence is shaken, unless they're really poised, and the rhythm for our defense is already set at a high level.

So unless we're talking a shot blocker like Russel that can control where the block ends up, I'll take Bradley.

He's a rookie who has looked lost. That said, I'm glad he's someone else's problem.

Good god, imagine if there had been anything to those pre-draft rumors about moving up to get him? Yikes.

Dude is simply not allowed to try on defense. I don't get it. He held up his man straight up, then JG came over to affect the shot. Not a foul.

Egh... shooting 33% overall from the field. 5.41 PER!! Probably been the worst player not named Brandon Bass in the NBA this season.

Strategically, I wonder why Bradley would be on Rivers. Maybe just so it looks like Doc isn't playing favorites? Rivers stinks.... put Bradley on Vazquez

He normally doesn't. Eric Gordon is sitting out back-to-backs so he got the call.
