I think you'd have to sub Jackie Bradley Jr. for Iglesias and Barnes for Morales just to keep the Marlins from hanging up the phone.

Morales is probably going to be swing depth, into the rotation at the first sign of injury. Likely Tazawa breaks camp in Pawtucket and comes up when Morales makes the switchover. I think they're counting on at least one of the opening day 5 being injured in the early going, and if Morales clicks when he gets into the rotation, they make a decision at the time whether and when to put the original guy back.

You're talking about trading those two and a swing lefty with a huge platoon disadvantage for the next Manny Ramirez.

i think either him or Aceves will be traded tho. both play similar roles and we have surplus in the pen

He's got great stuff and a durable arm, but if you can stack the lineup against him he's in trouble, and if he's in the rotation, you can do that pretty easily.

One thing that hurts Morales in the rotation is that he gets massacred by righthanded hitters. His platoon split looks like a classic LOOGY. Ridiculously tough against LHH, can't get RHH out to save his eternal soul.

He was pretty good his first 7 starts (37 2/3 IP , 3.34 era.), not every team has the ability to stack a lineup of good RHB'ers, so that's only an issue against a handful of teams. You dont expect your 4th-5th starter to match up well against every team. His one bad start was against the Yankees with all their switch hitters. He faltered his last 2 starts, presumably due to the shoulder problem that put him on the DL, although both the Yankees and Angels had a bunch of RHH'ers which probably contributed.
Have to question him being allowed to throw 106 and 108 pitches in back to back starts after 3 weeks working out of the pen in meaningless games, but that's Bobby V for you.
With Lester and Doubront in the rotation, a 3rd LH starter is probably not in the cards, and with Morales shoulder concerns and effectiveness against LHB'ers, he probably is in the pen unless Doubront or Lester get injured.
