Since I posted this in anger last night, I'll respond. Glad they won at home against the Sixers tonight. How about they string together a good run of games before we start thinking they're heading for big things? I don't think this is what the finished product looks like but take it easy.

EDIT: NOTHING would make me happier than being totally wrong about this.

They are 11-9 at the quarter pole, a .550 winning percentage. I think it's safe to say that this veteran team is merely pacing themselves, as they have for the past several seasons. The young guys and new faces are starting to mesh, and the disruptive Avery Bradley will soon be added to the defensive mix. You can be sure that once again the Boston Celtics will be an extremely tough out for anyone that draws them in the playoffs.
