Brett Favre - publicity whore that killed many of his own teams'chances by making the worst play possible at the worst possible time, he also had his balls licked by the media for years.
Ray Lewis - where is suit that you were wearing when you and a bunch of assholes killed two guys.
Asante Samuel - make the INT.
I use to hate many of the Rex Ryan Jets but I love the guys now, don't ever change boys!!

I'd add Cowboys NT Josh Brent after he was jailed and charged with intoxicated manslaughter.

The person he killed was his own teammate(practice squad LB Jerry Brown). Oh boy.

Neither of those plays was a deliberate attempt to injure.

Eh, it's debateable. But if you watch Pollard play he takes shots at guys whenever he can.

Also:
http://www.usatoday....d-reed/1720807/

"If a quarterback is going to the sideline, and I have a chance, I swear to you I'm going to kill him," Pollard said.

"They took away the suspension, but they took away $50,000 from him for something that was not intentional," Pollard said. "He's not a headhunter, that's not what Ed is. As players we ask where's the money going? They're always taking money from players for bogus stuff."

Plays like this are commonplace

Yeah there's a fine edge here, but if you watch him play and listen to him talk it's not a big surprise that a couple of his hits have injured players.

Since so many people have included former players, I am shocked..shocked I say...that my overwhelming choice has not been mentioned.
Deion Sanders and/or Primetime, hate them both for a plethora of reasons but perhaps most for that hand on the helmet move he would start 10 yards before end zone. If I were an opposing player, I would have just knocked the snot out of him in the end zone knowing full well I would get penalized/ejected/fined. I always thought somebody would teach him a lesson

Pollard. To the point that at times when he's been available (either via trade or FA) in recent years, I've wished the Patriots would acquire him just to put him on IR for the duration of the contract. That guy is like Patriot kryptonite when it comes to inflicting injuries.

The fucking Chargers. Now you decide to play and not hand over games.

I love Deion for no other reason than this:

Outstanding level of discussion here, chums. Let's do favorite color schemes next. Or worst 90's draft caps.

Why so serious?

If irrationally hating on complete strangers that we'll never meet just because they a professional sport is wrong, I don't ever want to be right.

Here's my list:

1) Big Ben
2) Ray Lewis
3) Suh
4) James Harrison
5) Adam Vinateri
6) Irrational Raider fans, especially those still crying about the Tuck Rule (which is the vast majority of them)
7) Every QB on the Arizona Cardinals
8) Carson Palmer

I don't get the Vinatieri hate.

Without him, the Pats don't win at the very least, one of the Super Bowls and we got a pretty good replacement.

Yeah, to me, Vinatieri's move to the Colts felt more like Mark Bellhorn's move to the Yankees than Johnny Damon's.

Von Miller was mentioned upthread, I didn't realize he had been fined five times in his last 24 games http://profootballta...nsion/#comments
