What was the point of that? Makes no sense at all.

Checking the formation in case they meet in the playoffs???

I can't think of anything else.

Buffalo, last game of 2003. They wanted the shoutout badly, and the backups were fired up to preserve it. Izzo intercepted a pass in the end zone to end the game.

IIRC there was one during 2007 as well.

WTF is with these fake onside kick shanigans???

I think I your opponent finishes the game with < 3 timeouts, you get a 30 point bonus.
Wait, you don't?

I totally forgot about that game. And the score matched their 38-0 loss at Buffalo in Milloy's first game there.

Preserved the shutout and exact reversal of the score from the Lawyer Milloy "They hate their coach" game.

Brady always sprints off the field as soon as possible post game after the perfunctory hand shake with the opposing QB.

Haha...besides holding goats, he can pretty much get away with anything style-wise. Haven't had a good tassel on a hat since I was about 6. But now I'm motivated to get a Pats one.

Has there ever been an FU goal-line stand?

Guess not this time either.

week 17 of 2003 against the bills pats won 31-0 after losing to bills 31-0 week 1 and I think Larry Izzo had a pick in endzone to end the game and everyone went nuts

edit: beaten by multiple people

Belichick looks fuking pissed. Love this. it's quite clear that he only cares about winning the last game.

Agreed, though part of it is the Texans offense really relies on the running game and the Pats stopped it. It's not all that sophisticated an offense, it just executes very well. The Niners, for me, will be harder to gameplan as they can do more things. They don't do any of them as well as the Texans usually run, but they are more diverse offensively.

Colvin needed major help coming off the field for that injury. Talib was on the sideline in the 2nd half.

The Patriots beat every 2010 championship game qualifier down the stretch in 2010. Well, with the exception of Pittsburgh. They kicked the shit out of them in October I believe.
