25 games for that, huh? Didn't know there was any differentiation between this stuff and steroids, HGH, etc.

Ruiz suspended 25 games instead of 50 because discipline is not same for stimulants as it is for steroids. This was his second positive test

Things sure have changed when the NL All Star catcher gets suspended for PEDs and gets fewer posts than Zach Stewart being traded does.

In 2011, a total of 105 Major League baseball players were granted exemptions under the league's drug policy to fill Adderall prescriptions.

Interesting that nearly 10% of players were allowed to take this otherwise banned substance. So many of these suspensions seem to be lumped together in terms of pubic perception when there is a broad spectrum of substances involved.
