Another day, another Western Conference power comes to town.

Scary stat of the day:

Boston (6-6) led the NBA in defensive field-goal percentage last season at 41.9, but that type of defense is a distant memory now. The Celtics rank 27th in that department in 2012-13 at 46.3 percent, allowing San Antonio to shoot 58.4 percent in Wednesday's 112-100 loss.

At least we can laugh at how bad Perk is now.

Too true, though he has his moments. But, Thunder fans can silently snicker at the enigma that is Jeff Green.

Maybe KG can grab more the two rebounds and not get outplayed by Nick Collinson tonight...

We've had a lot of guys playing in between and undecisively on defense. On penetration, our big comes to cut off the lane, and the weak side help is either late or nonexistent. It's leading to a ton of open layups. At least the offense has been coming together and AB's eventual return will help, but everybody else has to get on the same page in their defensive schemes.

C's have been somnambulant for much of this season, but I have a feeling they'll wake up for this home confrontation with the Western Conference's best.

Avery Bradley warmed up with the team in pregame today and may play. Hopefully its not so they can prove to the Suns he's healthy and then trade him for Gortat

Why? Bradley for Gortat would be a fantastic trade for this team.

If they called that kind of foul on LeBron, he'd average 15 minutes per game.

You can't so much as breathe near Kevin Durant without being whistled for a foul.

It's been a pretty lightly whistled game for the most part, but they're giving Sullinger the rookie job.

The refs treat Sullinger like shit.

If he keeps this up that's got to change. With how young and raw Jefferson and Perk were when they were drafted, who was the last 3, 4, or 5 the Celts have drafted that's been this ready to go as a rookie?
