Use whatever guidelines you please to make your choices

The poll for "Hitter" is based on their "hitting", not on their "fielding".

Rejected nominees included those who did not play 2 full seasons with the team. Also Marvin Freeman and Mike Hampton, as I checked with their mothers, and neither of their mothers thinks they were the best pitcher on their team for any period of time.

Helton and Ubaldo. Helton's career line of .320/.419/.545 is awesome, and he's played 16 years there. Walker had some great years there, but his 9 years of excellence don't top Helton career.

Ubaldo won by default. There were no good options, really, and the Rockies were smart to turn him into Drew Pomeranz and Alex White, even though they haven't done much yet.

Which is why I voted for "Ask Jeff F*cking Francis who the f*ck I am."

I'll always have a soft spot for that guy.

I had to vote for Walker (former Expo) and Francis (Canadian).

My votes should really not count for this particular thread.

Get this up to 50 votes and we can move on.

If you're just waiting to 50, there's no real point. With only 8 more votes to cast, Helton is up 17 and Jimenez is up 22... nothing will change.
