If the Pats win this week and Chicago beats Houston, then New England will control its own destiny. Long way to go of course, but it's a nice thought to have.
Still would need another Baltimore loss though that will likely happen to Pittsburgh or Denver or Dallas or NY Giants.

Another two losses if we're talking #1 seed. If it's #2 seed then, yes, Pats can beat out Houston if Texans lose to Bears and Pats win out.

Oh, sorry forgot them. I've just kind of assumed they're winning the wild card at this point. Flacco isn't good enough to overcome a subpar defense.

I stand corrected though with the tough they have that should be no problem to lose 2 more games.

I still have a sinking feeling that that bullshit week 3 game is gonna cost us a bye

Any SoSH tailgates that we can crash?

I'll be at the game (Sect 309) for my first trip to the Blade since the last game of the 2004 season (Pats 21-7 over SF). It will be my wife's first ever NFL game.
Any SoSH tailgates that we can crash?
I'm going, but not sure if we will get there early enough to tailgate. I'll keep you posted if we are going to be at our regular spot. Probably some other faces familiar to you as well. It will be like a Parsons St. reunion.

Bills spread it out a lot, and try to get mismatches with LBs on RBs and S on TEs. Also, the Pats were blitzing a fair amount in the first half and the Bills were burning them with screens; I'd expect the Pats to start the game not blitzing very much. Pats play almost exclusively nickel against Buffalo; it'll be interesting to see how Spikes / Hightower / Ninkovich / Love / Cunningham playing time shakes out.

Arrington and Chung apparently had non-contact jerseys in their lockers today. Chung has been listed with a Shoulder but was listed as Shoulder / Hamstring today. I now doubt he'll play Sunday. I'm dubious on Arrington, though they're had guys (Connolly and Hoomanawanui) bounce back pretty quickly from concussions earlier this year.No. I assume Arrington is the nickel or dime.
There's a chance Arrington, Chung, and Gregory can't play, in which case we're looking at:
CB: McCourty, Dennard, Cole, Williams
S: Wilson, Ebner, Martin
Yikes. Hopefully at least one of those dudes dresses.
EDIT: forgot the link: http://espn.go.com/b...able-for-sunday

Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez is not expected to play Sunday vs. Buffalo due to lingering ankle injury. Pats activated TE Visanthe Shiancoe.
hopefully this does not stick w/ him

It depends. If Baltimore loses one more and they all end up tied, the head-to-head would get thrown out because NE > HOU, HOU > BAL, BAL > NE. NE would likely be in the driver's seat because 2 losses came against the NFC.
Probably doesn't matter though, I think Baltimore is going to lose more than once and NE/HOU aren't likely get through that unscathed either.

I'm guessing Pats receivers still lead the league in drops.
I'm guessing they don't, but I will find out for you
