Tonight's Opponent: I'm not gonna lie; I don't know much about tonight's opponent. In fact, I am currently looking up their roster. I do know, at least, that they are not good. The qualification for that, by the way, is finishing behind the New York Knicks in the standings. Any team that traded FOR Kwame Brown must not be very good. It is a young team led by Brandon Jennings. You know, the kid who went to Europe instead of playing college hoops (if people don't identify him for that, what do they identify him as? He hasn't done shit in the league). He's not even that great a scorer, averaging only in the high teens. They made a "big" trade for Samuel Dalembert, who you might remember from his days with the Sixers. Yeah, he wasn't that good either. They also employ Mike Dunleavy. Yeah...

Rajon Rondo called this "scrappy" which is athlete-speak for terrible.

Tonight's Preview: The Celtics, lifted by the Garden Crowd, will quickly dash to a big lead, led by KG, who will want to atone for his horrid performance against the Heat. Doc will rest the starters for periods through out the second quarter, and while the bench will provide some needed scoring, the Bucks will pull to within 10 points at the half to make it "interesting." The third quarter will be all Paul Pierce with the captain scoring 14 points to give the Celtics a 20+ point lead. The fourth quarter will feature isos on the block to Sully and Courtney Lee threes.

Tonight's Beer: It's the first home game of the season, so preferably you'd want to go Boston-themed. However, you're facing the Bucks, and you can't hunt Bucks without:

Tonight's Objective: Drink their beer, beat their basketball team.

Other Relevant Info: 7:30 PM ET, CSNHD/WEEI. If you want some last minute tickets to see the opener, TicketsNow is a better bet than StubHub (entry price).

Go Celtics.

Never been a huge fan of music during the games, but love that the C's at least stick to the traditional organ stuff and not the Super Mario Bros theme or crazy sound effects that other arenas play.

An offensive rebound for the rook? He hasn't been taught the Celtic way yet.

The Celtics are going to need to figure out someone who can fill the void in the center of the defense when Garnett isn't in there. Even if it isn't pretty right now, they need to keep trying guys and giving them some minutes in order to be able to keep Garnett rested and healthy at the end of the season without giving up too much on defense when Garnett is on the bench.

They have A LOT of new players. Pretty much the entire bench (when you factor in Bradley as a starter) is new.

We need more Scal.

Even without Bradley, Barbosa-Terry-Green-Sullinger-Milicic all came from separate teams this offseason. They'll learn how to play together.
