Interestingly, Correnti could possibly emerge as a candidate to return to the Red Sox. According to Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe, the Red Sox have not renewed the contract of rehab coordinator Mike Reinold. The club had yet to confirm that report as of late Monday morning.
Reinold was the head athletic trainer 2010-2011, and assistant athletic trainer from 2006 to 2009. Glad to see them making a change and acknowledging the enormous problems in that department.
Seeing coaches like Butterfield, Lovullo, and now possibly Peterson follow Farrell here is refreshing and exciting after last season's shit show. I think they're off to a good start so far this winter.
