So we all know the frustrating feeling of a call not going our way. I know the players do but I think Tex actually went too far this time.
Sometimes you wonder if the umpires are just trying to get out of there. They don't want you to make a comeback. They want to go home because those were terrible calls. It is what it is. We are out there fighting. I'm out there playing on one leg. I wish it had gone my way.
Also, he said he re injured his calf on the play so that is almost definitely what is driving this but still is it possible he could get a short (like 1-2 game) suspension for this?

It's going to take comments like these before any kind of change is ever made. Good for Tex.

Maybe he shouldn't slow himself down by diving into first base.

Maybe the leg wouldn't have let him get there faster by running it out; there could have been a bit of collapsing going on as he approached the finish line - but overall, you're right.Maybe he shouldn't slow himself down by diving into first base.

Can't blame him a bit. Terrible call. Couldn't have happened to a nicer team.
We need replay.

From this angle, you can see he's safe by a mile...

I am no fan of Tex, and no fan of the MFYs in general. But you never hear them bitch like this -- not just Tex, but Martin and the lot of them.
That tells me something.
Lose today, and they go to full panic mode.
