Can't believe I already have to be apologizing for the defense like 8 plays into the season. It was 4th and 1, you're not exactly playing for/expecting a ball over the top there. Not a great play, but damn guys give them a chance.

This is incorrect. The Dowling play was not PI. He barely touched him and it was way over his head so he's leaping. The DMC one probably was.

The Dowling call made Bill Polian happy in the pants. It was within 5 yards of the LOS, so it probably should have been defensive holding (5 yards & a 1st) as opposed to PI.

I hate that a DB can't touch a WR off the line without risking a call.
