Great coverage there. Nice break up by Ebner.

2nd/3rd string D looks pretty good against the Giants #1 unit.

Stop dancing, Demps. Just hit the hole at full speed. You're a track legend. Just do it.

Demps looking a bit indecisive on his punt returns. Forget the multiple jukes, use that speed, young fella!

It seems as if Ebner's played every defensive snap this preseason.

Each punter has 4 punts, 50 and 52 yard averages

Has there been more than 1 throw to a WR?

That was a good looking throw on the rolllout.

I think you have to take such decisions in the preseason with a grain of salt.

Is Ebner on the bubble?

I say no way.

EDIT: He's doing pretty well for a guy who played like three defensive snaps in college.

Good.

I thought so. I know it is only preseason, but it seems like he has really good instincts.

Lord help me, I am excited about Ron Brace.

And Cunningham. It's a couple of highly-touted second-rounders that are trying to shed the "bust" label. I'm hoping that both of them somehow make the roster, but it's gonna be tight.

I know, but I still want to see Mallett just chuck it. I'd be down to employ the Rex Grossman playbook for him. (not seriously, but it would be entertaining as fuck)

[insert comment about paying the real officials]

jeffphowe: By my count, that's the fifth time Bolden has put the ball on the ground in practice and the preseason.

Why the fuck is Bolden back there? He's not a return guy. He's looked terrible on every kick he's tried to catch. He looks decent as a RB but god is he awful fielding kicks.
