Are we gonna get a "this is football, kid, you;re gonna get hit" comments every time Demps touches the ball? Ignore the fact that Demps leaned into the hit, he didn't shy out of bounds AND the fact that the guy who hit him got hurt

Jesus, I don't know how Demps is going to pan out, but I know I'm really happy he didn't sign with the Jets.

The Mallett/Demps show was the best thing about this game.

Hmm, good point. Bad omission on my part. This team hasn't had a RB as explosive as him in quite some time.

Mallett looks great.

What do you guys think we could get for Tom Brady? Five first rounders and you kind of have to pull the trigger.

Any chance they cut Hoyer and just go with 2 QBs?

I think the pumping up of Mallett over his last two games have been a bit over the top, maybe just because everyone so badly wants to see positives.

Belichick is destroyinggggg the offense in his PC.

Spikes was the best player on the field for either team. He made play after play against the 1st team. Demps would have had negative yardage in the 1st half. This OL has a long way to go to become competitive.

Perhaps. It should be of note that Mallett was doing this versus Tampa's backups with more time on most plays than Brady say all night. But I thought he did look impressive. He had two or three passes in there tonight that fell incomplete that are probably caught by someone like Gaffney or Welker. He was a little hopeless on the behind the shoulder/floater ones, but he made more good decisions than I remember him making in the past.

Through three exhibition contests, Ridley has 34 carries for 152 yards (4.47 YPC) and the three receptions.

I think Mallett played well too, I just don't think I'd be comfortable going with 2 QB.
