I don't know if this upcoming film's been mentioned around here before, but Deadspin put up a trailer tonight, and I must say, it looks fantastic. It's a history of the knuckleball filmed during the 2011 season and follows Tim Wakefield and R.A. Dickey.

WARNING: Features 2003 ALCS Game 7 footage.

Appropriately, tonight's baseball match-up in San Rafael:

Early returns are that the Knuckle Princess was quite impressive.

Sounds like a Bash opportunity. Occupy Cinema!

Seriously folks, though, that looks fucking outstanding. Thanks for posting, hadn't come across my radar before for some reason.

I saw this movie at a film festival in Boston earlier this year. It is fantastic. A must see.

Thanks for posting this, I hadn't heard of it and it looks pretty fabulous. My dad is a huge Wakefield fan — think I'll be ordering this for his birthday.

I saw this movie at the SABR national convention this summer and it is well worth watching.

A short article describing the game

http://www.oursports...ses/?id=4475726

mentions that Eri pitched 5 innings, giving up just one hit but two runs.

Bill Lee (yes, THAT Bill Lee) will pitch in tonight's game between these two teams.
