Wow, the Twins have given up 1,004 home runs (according to the NESN pre-game graphic).

That picture really needs some context. The mind goes to some really odd places trying to explain what that one's all about.

I'm excited to see how Lavarnway does behind the plate. Apparently he's improved a lot this year behind the plate this year.

These people don't really study baseball do they? They just make shit up and expect us to go with it. Lester "junked" his cutter and has sucked.

Lester's cutter was one of the main reasons he was successful. It is incredibly important to him going forward. Basically what I'm trying to say is Mitch Williams can shut the fuck up.

Price uses his cutter all the fucking time anyway. He started throwing it last year and it's become a large part of his game this season. Fangraphs has Price throwing the cutter 14% of the time this season. Brooks has 14% as well, after 4% last year.

Those cutters are getting way too much plate. Willingham will crush it if he throws that same pitch.

I'm thinking Breslow broke down Lester's delivery to a molecular level, and gave him a few tips on how to right the ship. Gene splicing may or may not have been involved.

He is so secretive about his wife's identity that he held up a drawing of her, rather than a photo, at a press conference where he showed off the silver band on his left hand.

The worst thing about Carl being up in the first inning, is that he generally has short ab's an then Pedey comes up with 2 outs.

He really is a terrible fit for this roster.

I couldn't agree more. He actually saw a pretty good number of pitches that at bat (7?), but this lineup would feel so much stronger with Pedroia batting second.

Well dropping him in the order is the only reason he could not hit or field last year.

Could be. But he could also be really funny. I mean if he knows how absurd the whole thing is and that the media will print it anyway, that is hilarious.
