The Red Sox will not make a trade Monday night, according to a team source, and the odds of a significant move before the 4 p.m. deadline on Tuesday are remote.
The Sox are open to improving their roster with a starting pitcher or a useful bench player. But they will not part with any of their high-end prospects, according to major league sources.
