That is incredible! Pictures from the 1936 Olympic Village I understand, but some are as recent as Beijing and Athens. This should be crossposted to the "Why can't we do this more often" thread.
I really question the ability of many cities to hold Games of this magnitude. The IOC is looking for new and "exotic" cities every time. They are wrong.

I've actually been the to bobsled track in Sarajevo, and it's even worse than what is shown in those pictures. Of course, there's a pretty good excuse for that one falling into disrepair.

Well yeah, that's for sure. I remember Samaranch (sp?) touring the war zone there and visiting the Olympic Stadium site, that was a tear inducing scene.
BTW I am looking all over the site and cannot get more pictures, are they available?
