OK we're back on our main server.  It was taking a super long time to move *everything* back just to save a day's worth of messages.  I've been at this all day now and need to get back to my real job so.,... sorry.  Working on a better plan in case this happens again.  nip

If Saints Rest has a problem with this, I'll withdraw my bid. Better yet, someone outbid me!

I don't have a problem with a lurker winning.
But it does bring up the point that i will ask for some measure of a security deposit (maybe $250) separate from the bid that I can hold onto "just in case." If there is no damage, you will get your $250 back.

One more thing: I will post pictures here on Monday when I am back at a real computer. In the meantime, look thru the old SOSH auction threads for pictures posted from auctions gone by.

Sorry to take so long to get these pictures up.

Here's the house on a sunny summer day:

Here's the back deck, great place for a cocktail . . .

. . . or a cookout:

The backyard is nice for lounging around the firepit . . .

. . . or for chilling in the hammock:

Perhaps you prefer the spring:

Maybe you prefer the winter:

A fire in the living room is always nice (dogs are acceptable to bring with you to get the full Norman Rockwell effect):

In any case, you will want to eat some lobsters and Brewster oysters:

And then there's the beach. It's called Saint's Landing, named after my great-grandfather who arrived there in the 1850's.

It's a beautiful place to watch a sunset, especially at low tide, where the tide goes further out than anywhere else in the world other than the Bay of Fundy:

It's even pretty amazing in a winter storm:

Donation made.

Transaction number: VKVE4F0B3E82

This time I used the Network for Good link instead of the SIC link that I had used previously. I got confused and thought the top entry in the Closing auctions and paying thread with the July 9 edit was the most recent link to use.

Hope you see it Jose. I did indicate SoSH/SIC in the description line.
