Youkilis gave us Lillibridge

I think that was Jonathan Swift.

With the state of our starting pitching, the most important person in our organization is Barnes. Gotta hit on him.

Tazawa and Lester should probably swap places.

I hope Lester is taking notes

1. Throw with my right arm
2. Enter game with reduced expectations

Meanwhile,

SBerthiaumeESPN Steve Berthiaume
#Rangers say Roy Oswalt has been scratched for Monday's start due to lower back tightness. Scott Feldman will start tomorrow vs. Boston.

Yeah one thing is for sure don't want to trade him. We need all the young effective arms we can get.

If they trade any high-ceiling prospects in the next 10 days, it'll be a p.r. move and Home Depot will run out of pitchforks and torches.

I'd riot if they traded any of their top 5 prospects...but I'd riot even harder if they did nothing. This series has been pathetic, no reason you don't sweep a team like Toronto...NONE.

Our GM is Ben cherington, we'll probably ship Lester off for some mediocre prospects.

I'll say this too...for all of the shit Crawford gets on this board...at least hes playing like he gives a shit, same thing with Gonzalez. Beckett and Lester are throwing batting practice 2 out of every 5 starts and thats the issue. You can have the best offense in the world but if you're always behind 5-7 runs you won't win many games.

To think that a couple of days ago I figured we had passed Toronto for good and were going to pick off TB and Baltimore on our way to securing a WC spot. What a dope I am.

Well this is mostly bad luck for Melancon, not a lot of hard hit balls here. Also it looked like Lawrie was out at home and the ump just blew the call.

That deadline deal for Victor also was a killer.....if you keep Masterson maybe you don't sign Lackey or at a bare minimum, Jenks. Seems like things have gone downhill since then.

Hear that thumping at Fenway? That's Bautista banging his head against the wall of the dugout for missing this series. He would have had 6 homers and 20 Rbi's against this staff.

I am actually hoping that they get nuked this week. It would force them to be sellers. I certainly don't want any of the top 10 prospects traded and still not make the playoffs.
