Another big off the board. Thought he'd be back, better hope Melo can contribute some minutes. Wolves apparently in on Courtney Lee as well.

ESPN is reporting that the Minnesota Wolves are expected to sign free agent center Greg Stiemsma, who played last season in Boston.
The contract is structured in way that the Celtics won't be able to match it seeing that they are already over the cap.
The Celtics extended a $1.05 million qualifying offer to Stiemsma last month. The deal with Minnesota is reportedly for one-year at $3 million.

Stiemsma is one of thise guys you love and you wish well, but that's about it. Plus I'd be concerned about his plantar fasciitis, which frequently hobbled him.

Darko, who is much more skilled than Stiemsma, has reportedly cleared waivers. That's who I'd be targeting.

Not really. The cap holds are meaningless in the Celtics' case; they are over the cap regardless, and the cap holds are not counted against luxury tax calculations.
