Was he blaming his caddie? Thought Lecava said it was coming from the right before he hit, and Tiger said its coming from the left after contact...
He was, but it still doesn't make any sense. Look at the flags above the gallery, they are dead.

Agreed, wind really has no impact at all right now.He was, but it still doesn't make any sense. Look at the flags above the gallery, they are dead.

+3 is now tied for 68th, so in order to push the cut down, another three players have to come in at +2 or better relative to where they stand now. Two players are at +3 on the course, so it's possible that both could come in a +2 or better. In order for one more to join them, Tiley would have to play the final three holes in two under. And if he did that and one of the other two didn't come in at +2, it wouldn't matter.
That's a long way of saying that +3 is almost certainly going to be the cut line. So Watson should be around for the weekend.

This is the 8th time Tiger had started a major with 2 rounds in the 60's. He went on to win the previous 7 tournaments.
Of course, he's also 4 shots back and has never overcome more than a 2-shot 36-hole deficit in a major.

I suspect both Scott and Snedeker will be hoping they do pair twosomes

Might see a repeat of the coldest handshake ever. (From the President's Cup last year.)

Jason Dufner tied for 5th at -4 just found out his caddie is sick and can't go...scrambled and got Sergio Garcia's caddie to replace him. The two have never worked together.
Contrast that against Luke Donald's caddy, whose wife gave birth yesterday and he's back on the course today. Actually, contrast Donald's caddy's commitment against Webb Simpson not playing this weekend because his wife is giving birth next week.

Conditions seem perfect again today. Not much wind at all.
Edit: Here comes Bubba! Drains a 20 footer for birdie on 13 to get to -5.

I think this is the first time I've seen a golfer wear the same outfit every day. I know its a new shirt and pants every day, but mix the colors up Bubba.

-5 now.

Didn't hear wear only white at the Master's every day? I guess that's his "bit", like Fowler wears orange and Tiger wears red on Sunday.

Tough to give Simpson too hard a time for that...kids come early all the time. If his wife went into labor while he was playing he would in all likelihood miss the birth.Contrast that against Luke Donald's caddy, whose wife gave birth yesterday and he's back on the course today. Actually, contrast Donald's caddy's commitment against Webb Simpson not playing this weekend because his wife is giving birth next week.

Lots of bogey's the past few minutes. Tiger, Bubba, Kuchar and McDowell all dropped shots right off the bat.
Edit: That was actually a double for Bubba, so he's at -2.

Sucks for DUfner, but he seems like the type who it just won't matter much. Other pro's that might completely get inside their head and destroy
Bravo Bubba, nice +3 the last 2 holes to throw away 13 holes of hard work

Tells you all you need to know about how important a caddy is to the player.

Would be nice to see Zach Johnson finish with another birdie or two and get up and post -6
Tiger with a shit shot on 5, but looks like he ended up getting a nice spot in the bunker, that could have easily been right against the edge

Well Bubba's caddy has the added task of keeping Bubba from running off after every shiny thing he sees between shots.

Tiger can't figure out the right club to hit. A club long on 1, and a club short on 2-5.
Get ready for the "I was between clubs all day" quote like he dropped after his US Open Saturday bummer.

Scott's looking pretty unbeatable. This might be a Louis Oosthuizen type victory.
I hope not. Not that I mind if he wins but it would be nice if there's a few players in contention tomorrow cos there's meant to be some 25mph winds. (Caveat being the weather reports haven't been bang on this week.) It might make for an interesting back nine tomorrow.
