I am shocked that a cadre if lurkers isn't pooling their money on this. This is easy membership! I had to write stuff, with data...in tables!!!!

If I outbid myself to win this I will hold a lurker writing challenge and give away three memberships, the other seven will be held back out of spite and maliciousness and because I am old and mean.

I'm willing to bet that Nip would probably let you bank unused promotions if you were to increase your bid a bit. That would let you play kingmaker down the line whenever you felt the urge. it would be sort of like the Slap Bet.

As an alternative, maybe you could crawl through the full lurker list and pick out hilarious names to give a random promotion to, regardless of their writing skills.

I was kind assuming I COULD bank them MDL. Given that i have outbid myself four times, from my own opening and generous $300 bid. I feel secure in my bidding.
