Well, let's see what Warren can do. This might be interesting. Or not.

By the way, I usually defer to the small but dedicated band of Yankee fans here. But, as no one started the thread...

It's all good, I can't be starting all the threads, EE just finished a nice run, terry is on vacation, Wingack has a man crush on Bryce Harper, and Meff doesn't seem to be around.

In retrospect, they probably should have put him on the DL and given Cervelli a few weeks back up.

Pretty sure Granderson is leading all of baseball in HRs against LHP since the start of 2011.

Was not expecting Quintana to be the one to give up 4 runs in the 1st inning.

Both teams could get to their bullpens pretty quick in this one.

95 degrees in this stadium against this lineup is not an ideal way to debut.

Poor Warren. I'm sure this isn't how he hoped his debut would go. I was at Weiland's debut last year at Fenway; it was similarly ugly.

I wish they'd kept showing reaction shots of his parents as he was getting hammered. :)

Well, at least the fans applauded after Warren was pulled.... Though, maybe they were just clapping at the thought of watching Phelps pitch instead.

Phelps looks great so far, so that's nice to see.

Quintana walked six guys all year before tonight, four more tonight so far.

Is it really the case that hot weather = more homeruns in Yankee Stadium? Or is that true for all stadiums?

Why was Youk replaced in the lineup? Injured?

TSN game log says upset stomach. They've given up hitting him in the head and now they're poisoning him? :)

Wade in for his third inning, will he get sent down tomorrow? NY running out of options in the minors, maybe a Manny Delcarmen sighting?

Position player pitching! Maybe Wise will be a revelation.

Yankees have 8 pitchers on the 60 day DL currently.

Wise looks better than Wade.

You have to think that Warren and Wade both go to AAA tomorrow, maybe for Whelan and Delcarmen? Not sure what the 40 man roster moves can be, though, what a mess.
