Yes, back by popular demand, it's a V.I.P. tour of the World Famous (Just ask the Australian documentary filmmakers who were shooting here recently) Beer Can Museum & Hall of Fame. Located on the banks of lovely Lake Rico in East Taunton, Massachusetts (where the Wampanoags might soon have a casino/water park - but I digress) the museum boasts a collection of over 5000 unique beer cans, along with beer can art and breweriana (beer related collectibles) dating back to around 1900. (The cans only date back to 1935, the year the first beer can was available to the general public in the United States.) The museum has been in such publications as Reader's Digest, The Boston Phoenix, The Boston Herald, the Los Angeles Times, and the Cambodia Daily. That's right, THE Cambodia Daily. We've also been featured on FoxNews Radio, and on that hit Polish TV morning show 'Dzien Dobry TVN'. That's right, we made the big time in Poland!

V.I.P. tour (FOR YOU AND A GUEST!) will consist of a bratwurst cookout, a selection of canned craft beers, and, of course, a museum souvenir prize pack consisting of your Certificate of Beer Can Appreciation, refrigerator magnets (the new batch came in and they are STYLIN'), postcards, and some collectible cans for you to cherish.

If you bid on the museum tour but don't think you can actually make it to East Taunton (since airfare is not included), I will be including in the deal a collection of new print books from my office, including 'Knuckler' by Tim Wakefield, 'Hitter: The Life and Turmoils of Ted Williams' (By Ed Linn), and a fantastic variety of other books (Mysteries, Cookbooks, Sports, History, and more) that will not disappoint you (I will ship to the winner). OK, the Ted Williams book isn't hot off the press, it's been in my office for years, but it's still a good read! The retail value of the books alone will be at least a couple hundred dollars.

Some additional titles in the book package:
-The Perfect Reclpe (cookbook) by Pam Anderson
-The Lower Rlver (Paul Theroux) - hot off the press.
-T0 End All War (Adam Hochschild)
-October Men (Roger Kahn) : Reggie Jackson, George Steinbrenner, Billy Martin, and the Yankees' Miraculous finish in 1978
-Big R0ads (Earl Swift) Untold Story of the Engineers, Visionaries, and Trailblazers who created the American Superhighways.
-Arnle & Jack (Ian O'Connor) : Palmer, Nicklaus, and Golf's Greatest Rivalry.
-'Are You My Mother' (autographed) - by Alison Bechdel. This graphic novel hit #1 on the New York Times list.
-autographed "When the Game was Ours" book signed by both Magic and Larry Bird!
-autographed Philip Roth book (Indignation - 1st edition). This book alone goes for around 40 dollars. http://www.abebooks....ip-roth/signed/
-'The Ta0 of Travel' (Paul Ther0ux) - A literary traveler's handbook from one of our finest travel writers. (cool leatherette binding!)
-'T0 End all Wars' : A Story of Loyalty and Rebellion, 1914-1918 (Adam H0chschild) - New York Times Bestseller
- Some cool Hobbit books to tie in with the upcoming film! And some Curious George books for the kiddies!
Good Luck. I think a fair starting bid is $50.

End date for the auction is July 20th (9 PM EST). Should be up over a grand by then!!

Cheers from the Museum curator / Boston publishing dude

Added yet another New York Times Bestseller to the book list. :-) with more to come, I'm sure. We're talking about JUICY bratwurst here people - sauerkraut optional. The museum is WAY better than Disneyworld.

If you don't make it to Taunton I'll be sure to ship you the beers along with the books! Tolkien fans will not be disappointed here - same goes for beer fans, although it will all be CANNED, of course.

Honestly, my wife is from Mansfield, so on one of our trips to visit my mother-in-law, this might give me a good excuse to get out for a bit and come on by. Provided I can bring my 4 year old with me. He hates being left behind with the womenfolk as much as I do.

The 4 year old will love the 'Beer Can Zoo', trust me.

Maybe, but I'm pretty confident I've got a little more left in the tank. Just in case:
