I work on a TV show called "Parks and Recreation." It stars Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Rashida Jones, Chris Pratt, and Aubrey Plaza. If you bid enough money, and you can get yourself and one friend to the greater Los Angeles area, you can come hang out in the studio and watch us make some of it.

Dates subject to your ability to get to L.A. and our shooting schedule, but it'll be flexible. We start shooting August 6. We will show you the set, and if any of the actors are around you can take pictures with them. You can also meet the writers -- two of whom, it might interest some members of this community, used to write a blog with me called Fire Joe Morgan. (Although, if that's really a selling point for you, given the other, objectively more exciting components of this package, you should take a second and think about yourself and where you are in your life... just like take stock, and make some tough choices and changes in the way you comport yourself. But whatever.)

Ladies: Rob Lowe is hotter in person.

Dudes: Rashida Jones is hotter in person.

All people: I can guarantee a good time. Everyone is friendly and funny and nice.

To sum up: two people get to come hang out on our set, tour it, possibly meet some actors and writers, and watch a TV show get made. I can't provide travel or hotel or anything, but I promise it'll be fun.

Retail price: infinite dollars.

Minimum: I have no idea where to start this so I'll just say: $250? Bid away, people!

This is an amazing oppurtunity. For me, airflight would have to be figured in the bid.

But I'll start at $250.

It would be worth it, KenT, to get you into a room to point out the many, many, many annoying mistakes you made in your cricket article.

If anyone steals my dream and overbids then I'll either spend the $250 on photos of penguins (in hats! Not in hats!) or I'll donate it more generally to the overarching truck fund.

Edit: Ugh. Just had some ugly news fall on me from a couple different areas (the car just went into the shitter, to start) and I'm not sure what it'll cost to repair that. Suffice to say, if the repairs are minor, I'm going to be back in on this like white on rice.

Will there be a live presentation of Harris's Foam Corner?

So, I'm pretty sure it would be nice to meet Rob, Amy, and Rashida but there's nothing my wife would like more than to meet the famous, Mose (seriously, she loves Mose). If I had any money at all I'd spend my last cents on this for her. What a great idea! Kudos.

Harris will be thrilled that you know what that is.

For the winning bidder, I will toss in having Harris Wittels humblebrag in front of you, so that you can call him out on having humblebragged. (If you don't know what Humblebragging is, please disregard.)

Check opening post for 2 different humblebrags.

(I'd post an emoticon here but those are against every moral fiber of my being)

Seriously, this is a cool auction.

Are there people who really think Rashida Jones is hot? She's not ugly, but I don't see the allure that so many seem to see.

I'd want to meet Mose more than anyone else on that show.

I won this auction item a few years ago when KenTremendous set it up for The Office. He was no longer working there at the time (Parks and Rec was filming their first season), but he went out of his way to drop by and make sure I was taken care of.

I flew all the way from the east coast, and it was a great experience. The auction lasted a few hours, but in that time I was able to sit in the edit bay, meet most of the actors, tour the set, and watch them film.

This is a terrific item for anyone interested in tv production as well as those just looking to see some insanely talented people be funny up close. Seriously, the cast is unfairly good.

I'm sharing my experience to bump this back to page 1 and encourage more people to bid. I live in Los Angeles now but can't swing the cost, otherwise I'd love to do this again.

There's no reason this should be outbid by a Lifetime Membership. It's true, this year I can't swing this, but man, it would be FUCKING AWESOME to do this. Seriously. So awesome. WATCH A TV SHOW BE MADE. Why am I typing in caps? Because obviously people don't understand what it means.

Post this(and all) of the LET'S FIGHT AIDS auctions on your facebook, twitter, google plus(lol), and your local legion hall bulletin boards. Giddyup M'f'ers.

I live 3,000 miles away, currently have no plans to visit LA, but it's a good cause, Parks & Rec is one of the best shows on TV (Emmys be damned), and this is ridiculously underpriced. $1000.
