I’ve never lived in Miami. And I’ve never wanted to. But I visited the abomination that was “Dolphin Stadium” back in ’08. Those games sucked. The Marlins and D-backs did too. Both teams knew how to lose.

Through the haze of our drunkenness, my buddies and I saw one guy go yard. Deep to left. And we saw the Marlins lose.

Cody Ross needs to remember how to get activated. And then how to go deep to left again.

And the Marlins need to remember how to lose again. We reminded them twice last week in Miami. Once behind Buchholz. We need to beat it into them again on Tuesday night.

Pedroia looked more like Pedroia (at least at the plate) on Sunday night than he has in a while. With Punto as the alternative, one good game makes rolling Pedey out there again a no brainer.
