Apparently the Celtics are 10-1 in the last 11 games Mike Callahan has been on the crew for.

So maybe only 2 of the refs will be turning us into Jodie Foster.

An NBA.com headline says that the Celtics are "in the way" and should "step aside" for a "dream finals matchup of Thunder vs Heat."

http://www.nba.com/2...ls=iref:nbahpt1

David Stern is bringing his "A" team of officials tonight:

Joey Crawford, Mike Callahan, Scott Foster and Ed Malloy (alternate).

He will not be denied his desired LeBron/Durant matchup.

What, no Marc Davis? Stern is losing his touch.

The only Laker fan I know is cheering for the Celtics, for the first time in his life. His reason is that he may hate the Celtics, but he at least he respects them.

My Grandmother is 93 and not doing well. She loves watching the Celtics, give a reason to keep watching.

I've been moved to our typical rival territory (NJ) and have taken great pleasure in knowing that finally everyone around me is even rooting for the Celtics. Even the frozen yogurt shop guy went on an extended monologue toward me last night about his respect for the Celtics and hatred for the Heat. I think that this Celtics team is one that really has gotten respect from the rest of the NBA fan bases and, coupled with most peoples' dislike for the Heat, that makes it even better. Road trips have to go to completion....we've packed for a week and OKC is supposedly an awesome place to visit in Mid-June....let's do this!

PS (BigA27): Best wishes for your Grandmother.

Currently in a text exchange with a friend that works for the NBA....sometimes common sense just isn't so....well, common. I can't understand the logic of posting that on the official NBA site. As was already said, let KG and the rest of the C's read that as part of their pre-game fuel.

"
Paraphrased response from NBA friend: "This article generates buzz and adds fervor and excitement to the game ("check plus" for NBA....note, not my personal opinion)"; although said friend firmly believes that the C's will win, is pulling for them, and that the article will only make us all the more vindicated afterwards. Let's just hope we don't see the phantom T's on Doc for being on the sideline, and uncalled Wade karate kicks and Rondo near-decapitations. Just make it 8:30, let's win this convincingly, and at least partially restore class to the NBA.

It's 230am here and I am scared to death of seeing a close game decided by horseshit officiating. I usually wake up to watch the games but I am tempted to just check the score on the mobile and go to an Ofuro instead of watching on my computer. Am I a bad person?

its not 4 minutes, but this is from someone in the garden, so no announcers

there's at least a couple others on youtube too from other people who were there, not hard to find

I thought the mut and merloni show had a really good montage of it put to music too

http://audio.weei.co...and-merloni.htm

Thanks. Hopefully someone, someday, will find the entire 4 minutes without Breen / JVG.

Aside from the profound doucheness of Miami, the most striking thing about that video is how much Danny has aged in the last five years. His is a job I do not envy.

Basketball wise, it's best if the C's win. If Miami wins...they could actually win the finals and that would kinda suck.

1)Eliminating the heat would be a great story

2)The Thunder breaking out to an elite team would be a great story.(I can't see the C's beating them, sorry)

3)We need to keep the Heat from getting over the hump as long as possible. Once they win it all, they cease to be interesting villains.

Make it happen guys!
