This kid should take over for Spoelstra. He can't be any worse.

He's already got the hair for it. He's well on his way.

So quick question. I am on the East Coast, sitting in Bobby Vs bar watching the Sox lose. Anyhow thats not important. If I were to, say, extend my trip and go to a certain Eastern Conference Finals Game 6, are the upper seats at The Jungle worth it? Any sections better than others? Any to avoid?

Thanks

Do it. There really isn't a bad seat in the Jungle.

Go for it. I've sat upper a few times, no issues with view or anything. Just to be in the building tomorrow is enough for me.

The chant I want to hear from Boston fans when the celtics are about to bury the heat is ...

"Not 1. Not 2. Not 3....."

I want that to be heard on national TV.

I do like the idea of fans showing up en masse wearing the IParty empty lensed glasses to mock Lebron and Wade. It would go well with the chant.

I hate to be the one to mention this, but KG has worn that ridiculously stupid lensless glasses before as well.

I think the fans should all show up in white shirts, sit down, and remain silent the entire game to mock the Miami fans.

I want the entire crowd to scream good effort every time lebron or wade misses a shot

True enough, but not these goofy ones, though:

I'll grant it is a slippery slope.

Coincidentally, the Freakonomics podcast had a segment on "plainos" - glasses for people who don't need them - last week. Apparently it's quite a big market. They spoke briefly to Wade. He made quite an interesting comment along the lines of how black role models need to show that it's okay to wear glasses and look bookish. It was actually one of the few non-douchey Wade moments that I can recall.

That actually sounds incredibly douchey to me.

I don't think it's douchey at all.

I dislike Dwyane Wade for a lot reasons. I dislike whenever anyone who doesn't need wears them as "fashion" because I'd rather not wear mine (or contacts or have to pay out the ass for Lasik).

I think Wade's reason is at least.... not awful.

I agree, I was having this conversation with a relative, while the "black hipster" look has swept the NBA, they are fashion role models for young teens and it's better than how Iverson era fashion was and I'd rather youth fashion themselves after these guys than the previous trends (coming from a black guy in case that sounded insensitive in some way)

THATS RACIST

but you're correct. The joke I make with some of my black friends (I'm a DJ so.... I've got a lot) is that every night in the club its Halloween... and all the black dudes are dressed like Kanye West in 2008. That's really not a bad thing.

Being well dressed is generally a good thing in terms of getting the respect of people around you, regardless of race.
